​Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (DVES) is the only setup in government sector Sindh, providing facilities for vascular diseases FREE OF COST for all.

From minimally invasive modern catheter-based intervention to traditional surgical treatment, we have been providing services for patients with vascular trauma and all types of peripheral vascular disorders. Be it a patient with vascular injury requiring urgent life saving surgery or a threatened limb requiring complex vascular and endovascular intervention , the services are provided in accordance with international guidelines promptly and efficiently in an effort to SAVE PRECIOUS LIVES & LIMBS


With the help of highly-talented and professional surgeons under the supervision of Dr Muhammad Fahad Tariq Berlas (Head, Department of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery SMBBIT), we are committed towards developing a system of sustainable health care services.

It has been an honor for our Department to be recognized by CPSP, encouraging doctors to get certified Vascular Surgery Fellowship training under our name. Keeping in view with the challenging era of today, we produce skillful, highly trained vascular surgeons which then act as a conduit to spread awareness and ease related to vascular diseases not just in urban but rural and remote areas of Pakistan.

DVES has conducted over 600+ surgeries, salvaging limbs affected by Chronic and/or Acute limb ischemia, saving not just limbs but families from the societal dilemmas of amputations.

Researches by our department have been recognized both nationally and internationally, being published in journals, gaining the interest of societies of Vascular Surgery worldwide.

Successfully performing about 300+ cases annually in our state of the art An​gio Suite, we believe that we save our patients from chronic excruciating pains secondary to arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), occluded arteries, and venous insufficiencies. Where life of an individual is affected, by becoming unable to perform his daily activities, we by HIS will, make them able to stand on their own two feet, feel independent and live life as a whole.
